The Group has four research institutes, three of which are University hospitals. In emerging markets, increasing the sustainability of healthcare provision for every citizen is vital. Through GKSD, added value can be achieved through enhanced in-country hospital management and training/rotation programmes with the GSD sites in Italy. It will also be possible to extend state-of-the-art medical services and provide experience in handling the complex demands that are critical for large healthcare providers. Further critical support will come from education, research and diagnostics across every spectrum of care.
