Strengthening Ties in Abu Dhabi

Chairman Kamel Ghribi attended a diplomatic dinner on Sunday, March 18th at the Hotel Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche to support the bilateral economic ties between Tunisia and the UAE.

Relationships between the UAE and Tunisia have grown considerably, in particular in areas of economic activity. The Private sector has played an important role witnessing growing trade and investment partnerships between the two countries.

Salma Elloumi Rekik, Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts in Tunisia understands the economic potential and fundamental importance of strategic geographical locations as they pave way for more economic cooperation, such as that between Tunisia and the UAE, particularly in tourism and trade.

High profile guests attending the event included Her Excellency Azza Bin Sulaiman, member of the Federal National Council to the UAE; Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, leading UAE law enforcement officer and the current General Inspector of the Ministry of Interior to the UAE; His Excellency Salah Mohammed Al-Baijan, Ambassador of Kuwait to the UAE; His Excellency Samir Al Mansar, Ambassador of Tunisia to the UAE; His Excellency Dr Mohamed Ait Ouali, Ambassador of Morocco to the UAE; His Excellency Jean-Paul Tarud, Ambassador of Chile to the UAE; and His Excellency Hassan Yousif Sa'ad, Ambassador of Lebanon to the UAE.

Chairman Kamel Ghribi has always believed in exploring investment opportunities and fostering direct ties between investors and entrepreneurs on all sides. In this case, particular focus was placed on how to further improve the educational and industrial sectors.
