Working closely with clients, the Trading Division structures commodity transactions between corporate and sovereign institutions. A number of large commodity contracts involving crude oil, condensate, cotton, phosphates, precious metals, precious stones and diamonds have been structured with the close involvement of the GK Trading Division, in particular:

• The supply of refined products and building materials to African nations
• The processing of crude oil under long-term and spot agreements with independent global refiners
• Traded on behalf of Olympic Oil Company (London), Olympic Energy (Italy) and Attock Oil (U.K)
• Facilitated commodity contracts with national oil companies in Abu Dhabi, Greece, Romania, Cameroon, Malaysia, Syria, China, Nigeria, Turkey, Algeria, India, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Qatar, Iran, Venezuela, Bahrain and Spain.
• Counselled the governments of Mali, Niger, Chad and Tonga on commodity trades.
• Other clients have included AGIP, Elf, Amoco, Exxon, Philbro, Wescom, Holland, Mitsubishi and Marubeni.
